Core Concepts
The CRM module is made up of connected record types that show different stages and relationships in your customer journey. Each record has a clear purpose, helping your team collect the right information, follow up effectively, and move from first contact to a successful sale.
Below are the main record types you’ll work with in the CRM.
Represent a company, business, or client account. An organisation connects all related contacts, enquiries, opportunities, and sales, giving your team a complete view of every relationship and transaction.
Individuals linked to an organisation, such as decision-makers, users, or partners. Contact records store details like communication history and engagement so your team always knows who they’re speaking with.
The first sign of interest from a potential customer. Enquiries capture early details, such as what the person is asking about and how they found you.
Enquiries that show real potential become Leads. They represent people who are ready for a sales conversation and can be followed up, nurtured, or converted into opportunities.
Deals or projects your team is actively working on. Opportunities track value, timeline, and progress through your sales pipeline.
Formal offers sent to leads or customers. Quotes include pricing and details of what you’re offering, and can be turned into Sales once accepted.
Closed and confirmed deals. A sale record shows what was sold, to whom, and for how much, helping your team keep track of revenue.
The day-to-day actions that move relationships forward, like calls, meetings, emails, and tasks. Activities link to other records to show a complete timeline of every interaction.
